Peaches was rescued after being found as the only kitten at a TNR site. Her rescuers saw how young Peaches was and decided that she deserved more than a life as a community cat. Upon arrival in her foster home, Peaches was very nervous and took several days to decompress and feel comfortable in her new home. However, once she got comfortable Peaches really came out of her shell and showed her charismatic personality! She is a goofy, fun-loving, and extremely affectionate kitten that is an absolute joy to have. She is very intelligent and very treat motivated! While she does love to play, Peaches is also perfectly happy being snuggled up in your arms. Peaches enjoys giving kisses and will "talk" to you all day long.
Peaches would do best with a family that will allow her time to decompress and warm up in the beginning. She can still be shy around new people and loud noises and fast movements still make her a little nervous. She is very playful when she becomes comfortable and would do best in a home with another kitten/playful young kitty to keep her busy! Peaches has not been around small children in her foster home and would most likely do better with older children. She also has not been around dogs, and it is unknown how she would react.
**A NOTE ON KITTENS** Kittens need interaction with other kittens for healthy social development. For that reason, preference will be given to homes adopting two kittens at the same time (they don’t have to be littermates) or to homes with relatively young, friendly cats already in the home. Kitten adoption fees are $150 for one or $275 for two. Apply at www.straypawsrescue.com
