Papaya is a sweet kitty.  She is a little shy but warms up and likes attention.  She was found as a stray living outside with her 2 siblings (Kiwi & tangerine) and mom, Mango   She will come with a sterilization contract if adopted out before she is spayed.

Papaya and her siblings were tested and showed positive for FeLV antibodies.  They will be tested again in 60 days.  It is common that kittens test false positive due to nursing on their mom. FeLV is manageable and cats can live 10+ years.  Cats with FeLV will need to be indoor cats and not live with cats that are negative for the virus.  The virus is spread orally, mainly through saliva.‚Äč

**A NOTE ON KITTENS**

Kittens need interaction with other kittens for healthy social development. For that reason, preference will be given to homes adopting two kittens at the same time (they don’t have to be littermates) or to homes with relatively young, friendly cats already in the home. Kitten adoption fees are $150 for one or $275 for two.
